Why a Framed Marquee Tent is perfect for an East London Bash

East London, South Africa is well known for being the only river port in South Africa. Its sweeping beaches, subtropical weather and low traffic congestion (most of the time) make it pleasant and inviting for locals and tourists alike.

Together with its beauty, it is also known for the passionate local crowds, who love a good party and get-together at a beautiful venue. If you are an East London local reading this, you will know exactly what we are talking about.

Some of our favourite event venues to host parties at in Buffalo City (aka Slummies) include:

• Orient and Eastern Beach

• Gonubie River and Beach
• Buffalo Park Stadium and Jan Smuts Stadium
• James Pearce Park
• North End Stadium
• East London Golf Club
• East London Police Rugby Club

• Old Selbornian Club
• Hamilton Club

These are all good spots for corporate events, a sokkie, weddings, an umgidi, birthday braais and more. Marquee tents are perfect to pitch in the open areas to create and indoor, outdoor feel.

Here are reasons why a framed marquee tent is the perfect venue for a gathering in East London, South Africa:

• Solid Framed Marquee Tent

Regardless of the weather, and the infamous Eastern Cape wind the tent will not be damaged. You can place it on any surface; sand, road (potholes and all), grass etc. As long as the location is relatively even, we ca place it. Keep in mind that you should have permissions from the relevant people first!

• Spacious open interior venue

There are no obstruction inside the tent, unlike peg and pole tents. Which means that you have an open, blank canvas to work with. You can fit more guests comfortably. Because of this tent’s set-up, you are even able to sub-divide and add on a VIP area!

• Ideal Lighting for events

Our beloved Eskom is known to switch our lights off at the most inconvenient times. Keep this in mind and consider a daytime, outdoorsy gathering in marquee tent, this will allow plenty of light without worrying about a back up!
